If not, that is the end of it and you owe me nothing. I have been building websites since 2009 for businesses in Spain, Europe and Latin America.

Is your website on WordPress?
There is nothing wrong with WordPress, and I use it too when it fits. But if your site was built years ago and nobody looks after it, this is what you gain by switching:
Nothing to update
No more “update this plugin” warnings and no more site breaking after an update. There are no plugins, so there is nothing to keep an eye on.
Far less risk of being hacked
Most hacked websites get in through an outdated plugin. With no plugins and no WordPress login on show, there is no way in.
Fast, with no licences
It loads instantly on a phone (and Google takes that into account), and there are no paid themes or plugins to renew every year.
And you still change your text and photos yourself, from a simple panel, without touching any code.
Built your website yourself with AI?
Credit to you. It is like putting together IKEA furniture yourself: for a bookcase, it does the job. But three things need someone who does this for a living:
The gap that isn’t standard size
Flat-pack fits flat-pack walls. When you want bookings, a quote that works itself out or something only your business has, the AI starts going round in circles and every fix breaks something else.

It looks assembled, but what you cannot see is missing: Google reading all of it, a form that really arrives, the legal notice and cookies, backups. And when something breaks, who do you tell?

Pablo Cortés
I have been building websites since 2009. The early years with WordPress, for agencies and clients in Spain, Europe, the United States and Latin America: consultancies, projects funded by the European Commission, shops and cultural brands. Today I build custom websites and apps, without WordPress, with AI tools for the mechanical part, and I keep them running every month. I work alone: if you write to me, I reply, and you deal with me throughout the project and afterwards.
I am also a portrait photographer, at Fotablos. Hence the care for how what I build looks.

Questions people ask me
How much does it cost?
A one-off payment at a fixed price, in writing, before I start, and a monthly fee only if you want me to look after maintenance. It depends on the size of the website: write to me and I will give you the figure within 24 working hours.
Do I have to change hosting or domain?
No. If your hosting is fine, I set it up there; if not, I suggest one on European servers. The domain and your email stay yours and are not touched.
Is it WordPress?
No. It is hand-written code: that is why it loads so fast and there are no plugins to update or to break. If you need WordPress, I have done it since 2009 too; just tell me.
What if I build it myself with AI?
For something simple it may be enough, and if you already have one, even better: show it to me. I build on what you worked out and take care of what you cannot see and what only your business has.
What if I want to change something later?
With monthly maintenance you get changes included every month. Without it, each change is quoted separately, by the hour. Either way you write to me and I do it.
What about what I already have on Google?
I keep the important addresses with redirects and carry over the text that works for you, so you do not start from zero.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size. I give you the date in writing together with the price, before I start, and I keep it.
Which languages do you work in?
Native Spanish, professional English and French. Conversational Italian and Dutch. The website can be in several languages.
